Let's Help Jon!

The Community of Exira Iowa recently suffered a significant fire to its downtown area. Four buildings were destroyed, including one residence/business occupied by a long time resident, Jon Bauer. Many of you may have heard him referred to in the television news stories as "a disabled man". It is true, Jon has been in a wheel chair for over 20 years, but he has never let his disability define him. Jon has suffered as many set backs in his life as anyone we know. He lost his mother to cancer when he was still a teenager, he lost one of his daughters to cancer when she was just seven, then fell from a tree stand when he was in his late 20's. He has fought back from every setback and was in the process of beginning his new business in Exira doing psychiatry work on a "free will donation" basis. Then, on the early morning hours of July 14th his life took another huge blow when his home/business location was destroyed by fire. All of his personal belongings were either damaged or completely destroyed. Please help us raise money to help him recover from this latest setback! He is basically left with nothing, and must start over.
