Temecula recently lost one of its heroes, Marine Staff Sergeant Louis Cardin, in what we believe to be an ISIS originated attack at his post in Iraq. Sergeant Cardin was unmarried with no children, so the best way to honor his memory is for the City of Temecula to erect a suitable monument in his memory as well as the memory of those other Temecula citizens who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.
Our plan is to work in conjunction with the Veteran's of Foreign Wars (VFW) to fund, design and construct an appropriate memorial in a suitable park location in the City of Temecula. We would like to build the memorial by the end of Summer 2016 at either the Temecula Duck Pond or Veteran's Park.
We thank you in advance for honoring your brave Temecula citizens who have paid the highest price for our liberties.
