<div>En Febrero de 2020 fue diagnosticado con cáncer en la amígdala (garganta). A partir de ahí inició la pesadilla. Lamentablemente, no cuenta con ningún seguro y sus ingresos son muy pocos. En ese momento nos unimos familiares y amigos y logramos recaudar lo necesario para su tratamiento: quimioterapias y radiaciones.

<div>Afortunadamente, el tratamiento dio resultado y, a finales de 2020, ya estábamos disfrutando de nuevo a mi papá, agradecidos con la vida de tenerlo con nosotros.

<div>Estos últimos meses empezó de nuevo a sentirse mal y el 29 de noviembre de 2024 recibimos el diagnóstico: el cáncer regresó, ahora en ambos pulmones. El oncólogo nos comenta que el tipo de cáncer actual (carcinoma pobremente diferenciado) tiende a crecer y a propagarse más rápido, por lo que es vital iniciar lo antes posible las quimioterapias.

<div>Estamos asimilando la noticia, estamos muy asustados, pero con mucha esperanza de que salga de nuevo adelante.

The oncologist informed us that the current type of cancer (poorly differentiated carcinoma) tends to grow and spread more rapidly, so it is vital to start chemotherapy as soon as possible.
