Hello all! Benji and I (and Ellie) are so completely shocked and overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from people about our situation. It is a whirlwind of emotions and lots of happy tears. I am trying to post a video update because we have had lots of folks suggest raising our goal which I was resistant to at first but when I considered the fact that moving in is step one and then staying housed is step two it makes sense: especially since we are literally starting from scratch. Hopefully I can get the video to load (struggling) but if I don’t thank you individually please know I am going to try to and every single person who has reached out or donated has touched our hearts. We may actually be able to bring my daughter back and she could go to her old school! We are trying desperately to secure housing before Winter comes and our camping options end. Any funds we receive are being put directly to our first, last and security deposits for an apartment or if necessary a long term motel/hotel stay. Thank you and stay healthy!
