<div>Hi, I’m Carson Rich, and I’m raising funds to support The Jed Foundation (JED).  Mental health is a incredibly important topic to me personally, and its something I think our society needs to have the proper resources and tools to support. Mental health issues are something that I have observed plaguing not only those close to me, but those across our generation, and something that unfortunately remains a somewhat taboo topic. When it comes to physical illness, most people are decently educated at a basic level and there's no judgement or taboo associated with seeking treatment for it or admitting your ill. When it comes to ailments of the mind, however, there is a taboo and stigma that can often be associated with these conditions, and arguably worse, a complete lack of understanding amongst the general population of how many of these disorders or conditions work and how to properly treat them.

<div>I started this fundraiser to help bring support to the millions of teenagers who struggle with mental health problems and conditions, and through donating to this fundraiser, you can be apart of this process, to create a better future and help enrich the lives of those afflicted with these conditions. The Jed Foundation provides resources to teens, young adults, and families to be able to treat mental health issues and help these various groups of people enjoy life to the fullest.
