<p>Hello, I am Tamara Williams, and my husband and I are launching this fundraiser to support our courageous young boy, Jack, who will be undergoing surgery and a challenging recovery due to a complex open fracture on the side of his jaw. Despite the unfortunate circumstances, I am inspired by Jack's resilience and determined spirit. Our female dog was in heat, and we had separated her from our two male dogs, but apparently, the separation was insufficient. Somehow, our female dog escaped from her enclosure while we were away, and upon our return, we found our little Chihuahua in this condition. He has sustained an outside fracture. The doctor informed us that this type of fracture is uncommon and requires a specialized surgeon to perform the surgery. Jack has a puncture hole at the bottom of his jaw and a swollen area on the side of his mouth, indicating the location of the fracture. Thus far, I have incurred expenses amounting to $3,108.52, and the veterinarian estimates that the surgery will cost between $9,000-$13,000 Having maxed out my Care Credit card, I am uncertain about how I will cover the costs of this surgery, given that I am the sole income earner. However, I am unable to consider euthanasia; this little boy means the world to us. My husband and I are heartbroken and distraught, yet we remain hopeful and committed to Jack's recovery. I feel responsible for the incident, as I should have double-checked the enclosures before we left. Consequently, our baby boy is experiencing immense pain. He is currently at home with us, we were able to bring him home after his procedure to insert a feeding tube into his esophagus, and will remain at home until we can locate a surgeon capable of performing this specialized surgery. I'm not the type to ask for help, but our little Jack means the world to us, so here I am, reaching out with faith and optimism. Although I am uncertain whether it will be effective, I must attempt to explore all available options, as I am not willing to lose our baby.
