Put Down Head Stone

We need $2300 for Alberta Cannons Headstone. That is the cheapest price available for one that the cemetery will approve to be put down. It is a basic stone marker with a brass plate with the info. One like it is pictured below that is on The grave next to hers that belongs to her son Kevin. Thank You in advance for any support that you can give.

Alberta Bland Cannon 1930 to 2020

Our Mother... Alberta Bland Cannon, 90, of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2020.

Alberta was born on August 26, 1930 in Carteret County, NC and has lived in Fayetteville, NC since 1970. After decades of work, she retired from McCrory's Stores in the 1990's. Alberta will be remembered as caring, sweet-natured, strong, and fiercely dedicated to her family. Alberta was an excellent home cook, liked gardening, always tackled the daily crossword puzzle, and enjoyed spending time with loved ones.

Alberta is survived by her sons, Charlie Guy and Kerry Cannon (Beverley); grandchildren Shannon Radici (Breno), Rebecca Calkin (Wes), Jonathan Guy, Erica Younger (Jake), Olivia Guy, Charles Norris (Courtney), Shelly Pond (Travis), Stephanie Wilson (Luke); great-grandchildren Christopher Davis, Michael Radici, Tyler Radici, Logan Radici, Alice Calkin, Ezra Younger, Ty Younger, Justin Lynch, Jasmine Shore, Chase Norris, Lauren McNear (Joseph), Katlin Bengoa, Kenly Pond, Hannah Pond, and Sarah Pond; great-great-grandchild Mavrick McNear; and siblings Barbara Rose, Callie Daniels, and Johnny Bland (Vicki).

She is preceded in death by her sons, Kevin Cannon and Samuel Wayne Guy; parents, Alsey and Rebecca Bland; and siblings Marjorie Lupton, William Bland, Lucy Bland, and Alsey Bland Jr.. Also her 2 Ex-Husbands Slim Guy (M. 1946-1950) and Troy Cannon (M.1951-1970).

She has lived a long life and was a dear, dear person. Her official cause of death has not been officially determined but her age + C19 sickness was too much for her to handle. She was loved by all who knew her as she was so kind and loving and generous with all. We have no way to mark her grave because its very costly for stone and then we have to pay to have it placed down. She has been buried beside and deserves a marker similar to are brother (Kevin Cannon) 51740708_1602187504689348_r.jpegis what we know she would love if she were here to see.. We will get this done with your help. Any help you can give for my mothers marker would be tremendously appreciated.

Sincerely, Kerry Cannon and Charlie Guy
