<div>Ask yourself this:
</div>
<div>Have you ever been in a moment where you had to consider leaving behind a pet who is more than “just a pet” to you?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Imagine facing a crisis so dangerous that you must flee for your own safety — but the only safe place available won’t allow you to bring the animal who has been your comfort, your companion, and sometimes your only source of unconditional love.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For many survivors, this isn’t hypothetical. It’s their reality.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Up to 48% of domestic‑violence survivors delay leaving an abusive situation because they have no safe place for their pets.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>These are the people who need help right now.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Purple Paws for Peace is a registered 501(c)(3) California nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that survivors of domestic violence never have to leave their pets behind to escape danger.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are raising funds to launch our essential programs and build a dedicated, confidential facility that includes safe temporary pet boarding, emergency supplies, and survivor support services — so families can flee abuse together without fear of losing the animals they love.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Purple Paws for Peace exists to remove that barrier. We provide a safe, confidential place for pets so survivors can escape danger without losing the animals they love. When survivors know their pets are protected — and that they can visit them during their healing process — they are finally free to take the steps toward safety, stability, and peace.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your support helps us remove those barriers, protect vulnerable pets, and bring peace, safety, and dignity to families in crisis. It's up to us to help fight for the voiceless, and we will continue to do this at Purple Paws For Peace.
