Purple Gala 2018

The Purple Gala is an event hosted by the Ohio University Senior Nursing Class. We are raising awareness about the opioid epidemic plaguing this country but more specifically Southeast Ohio. The money we raise will go directly back into the community and support Serenity Grove, Athens first women's only recovery house. We are hoping to raise enough money to convert a garage on the property into a multipurpose space that can be used to hold group recovery meetings, art, yoga and other activities for the women living on the property.
