<div>mein Name ist Purity – ich bin Extremläuferin, Spendenläuferin und ein Mädchen mit einer tiefen Herzensmission.

<div>Ich stamme aus einem traditionellen, nomadischen Stamm in Kenia – aus einer Welt, in der Bildung, sauberes Wasser, ein Bett oder gar eine Mahlzeit lange Zeit purer Luxus waren. In meiner Kultur hatten viele Mädchen kein Recht auf Schulbildung. Viele wurden früh verheiratet oder sogar beschnitten.

<div>Doch ich hatte das große Glück, einen besonderen Menschen an meiner Seite zu haben: meinen Großvater.

<div>Er war mutig genug, gegen diese zerstörerischen Traditionen zu sprechen. Er hat mich beschützt – vor Zwangsheirat, vor Beschneidung, vor dem Schicksal, das so viele Mädchen in meiner Heimat trifft.
</div>

</div>
<div>Dank ihm durfte ich zur Schule gehen. Dank ihm konnte ich stark werden. Und genau deshalb trage ich heute meine kulturelle Kleidung mit Stolz, laufe in Sandalen – für die, die noch keine Stimme haben.
</div>

<div>Ich bin Extremläuferin: In Deutschland laufe ich bis zu 200 Kilometer am Stück, in traditioneller Kleidung, um Aufmerksamkeit und Spenden zu sammeln.
</div>

</div>
<div>Am 27. und 28. September 2025 nehme ich am legendären Spartathlon in Griechenland teil – 246 Kilometer in nur 36 Stunden. Und im Februar 2026, vom 23. bis 27., wartet mein nächstes großes Abenteuer: der Ultra X Tanzania – 220 Kilometer durch Hitze, Sand, Höhenmeter und Wildnis – in nur 5 Tagen.

<div>Ursprünglich wollte ich für ein Projekt in Senegal laufen. Leider reicht das Budget dafür nicht aus. Tanzania ist für mich machbarer – und trotzdem genauso kraftvoll. Das Land ist mir näher – emotional, kulturell und logistisch. Ich glaube daran, dass dieser Lauf der richtige nächste Schritt ist.

<div>Warum ich das alles mache?

<div>Weil ich in meinem Heimatdorf etwas verändern will.
</div>
<div>Weil ich will, dass arme Familien medizinische Versorgung, Bildung und Nahrung bekommen.
</div>
<div>Weil ich Waisenkindern, die allein zurückgeblieben sind, ein Zuhause schenken möchte – voller Liebe, Geborgenheit und Hoffnung.
</div>

<div>Vielleicht scheint dieser Traum noch weit entfernt. Aber ich glaube fest daran: Wenn ich heute nicht anfange, wird er nie wahr.
</div>
