Purchase of Mosque in Carlow, Ireland

Ridiwanulahi Arabic & Islamic Cultural Society of Ireland ("Ridwanullah") is an Islamic organisation registered with the Companies Registration Office in Ireland with  Registration No. 347724.

Being a non-profit making organisation, Ridwanullah is equally approved by the Charities Regulator in Ireland with Charity No.  (RCN) 20200673.

The Islamic organisation is situated in the Carlow Town (one of the Midland county in Ireland) where Muslims in the Carlow and suburb worship daily and Children learn Islamic and Arabic Studies. 

Due to the uniqueness of the location of the Mosque at the main centre of Carlow Town, within Carlow Shopping Complex, there are various interests in the acquisition of the place of worship. Being the long standing tenant of the venue and the approval of the Charities Authorities for the use of the venue by Ridwanullah, we had the opportunity to lead the consideration for the acquisition of this venue. To this extent, the acquisition of our place of worship, the Ridwanullah Islamic Centre has commenced.

The total cost of acquiring our Mosque is €115,000 (One hundred and fifteen thousand euro) out of which €15,000 deposit has been paid by the congregation. The remaining €100,000 is due for payment by 30 June 2020 or annually for a period of 5 years without interest. in addition, cost of renovation and expansion is €30,000.

The 5 years period of payment commenced from June 2019 when the deposits was paid.  The commitment is to pay €1,000 monthly for the months of July - May, totally €11,000 and a lump sum of €9,000 in the month of June, the anniversary date of payment. Since the acquisition process of regular/instalment payments had no interest and falls within the ethics of Islam, the agreement included a NON-DEFAULT CLAUSE. Any default would result in loosing our deposit and all payments to the point of default would be regarded as rent payments and the option of acquisition/full ownership of the place of worship including Islamic activities within Carlow Town in Ireland by June 2024 (5 years from 2019) would be forfeited.

Carlow is known as the "Town of Students" due to many Higher Institutions of Learning in Carlow. Students from different parts of the World gain admissions into schools in Carlow yearly. Ridwanullah, being at centre of Carlow Town, provide a great opportunities to these Students for worshipping and engagements in Arabic & Islamic Studies including Islamic activities. 

We hereby seeking the supports of all Muslims and non-Muslims globally, to please support this course of propagation to realise the dream of acquisition/purchase of Ridwanullah Islamic Centre for the benefit of Muslims in Carlow, Ireland and Islamic Communities globally.

We are pleading and indulging you to donate generously towards achieving the full acquisition of Ridwanullah Islamic Centre by June 2020 OR to commit to monthly regular interval donations for this course. This is a SADAQAH JARIYAH for all Muslims.
