We want to thank all the compassionate people who so generously donated to the care and recovery of these pitiful, suffering animals.  With the exception of a few who are still at the shelter,  most have found new loving homes where they can live the rest of their lives with enough water and food, and without standing on filth in painful wire bottomed cages.  They’ve all been spayed or neutered, had vet care for their sometimes severe dental disease and ear infections, as well as ulcerated eyes and swollen feet.   Juniper (named by new family) is a heartwarming example of one of  these much deserving little dogs adapting to their new-found luxury.  Life is good for them now!
