Christmas Miracle for Vet's Daughter with Cancer

A fellow veteran has a 6-year-old daughter who suddenly became quite ill.
A tumor was located in her brain, and the biopsy returned the worst possible answer a parent can hear: malignant Atypical Teratoid/Rhabdoid cancer.
She begins radiation and chemotherapy in January, which is tough on anyone, but even more so on a small child. Her parents have searched for a Golden Retriever puppy to help her through her treatment, be her best friend, and give the entire family some extra joy in what has already been a rough year, with scary times ahead.
As I raise Golden Retrievers, a mutual friend asked if I had any available, and sadly I don't, but after some rapid searching, and messages sent out to every reputable breeder I could get in touch within Texas and across the United States, a breeder in North Carolina has agreed to help with a well-bred, excellent temperament, healthy, happy puppy!
Now here is the ask, the puppy will be ready to go home to this little girl on January 4th.
We need to raise around $2000 to help pay for the puppy and transport her from Emerson's Goldens in Charlotte, North Carolina to Round Rock, Texas. I will personally travel from Houston to NC to collect the puppy and deliver her to Tabitha in Round Rock.
I understand it has been a hard year for all of us, and what I'm asking for is an awful lot, however, this little girl has the fight of her life ahead of her and if we can help, we really should in any way possible. Anything that goes above the purchase and travel will be given to the Brown Family.
