Pump It Up For Monica!

Our lovely, giant-hearted friend Monica relies on her insulin pump to help her manage her Type 1 diabetes. Without it, she has to inject insulin with needles 10-15 times a day on average. Imagine having to tolerate that many pokes a day just to stay healthy. Unfortunately, her current one is nearing the end of its life, and insulin pumps are PRICEY! A replacement will cost approximately $10000 with no support from Manitoba Health.
A working, effective insulin pump greatly enhances quality of life for people struggling to manage Type 1 diabetes. And let's be real: the world needs more Monica. She devotes all of her time to helping, inspiring, and caring for others. We need her up and at em and feeling well enough to do her thing.
