To Help Pulse Staff Out Of A Job

My name is Chris E. Mistery, and I have performed at this bar countless times. I spent my entire Sunday hugging, consoling, and being with the victims families at the hospital. I know how well everyone is reaching out to them to provide whatever they need during this tragedy.
However, I have so many friends who worked (it's so strange to use past tense) at this bar every week, and they have been forgotten by the media as victims as well. This was their source of income. The bartenders, the shot boys and girls, the bar backs, the dancers, the performers, the list just keeps going on and on.
I am glad to have another source of income for myself, but for some of these men and women, Pulse was it. That was their only way they made money. Not a penny of this is going to me, every single cent will be going to these wonderful people who made Pulse Orlando the welcoming and beautiful place that is was. It's the least that we can do for them, no one should suffer in any more ways because of this.
On Wednesday night, an event is being held at Southern Nights Orlando. And all proceeds will go towards helping them. That means all bar sales, all cover monies, all tips to the performers, EVERY DIME RAISED.
There are still countless people in this town who are afraid to go back out. This is for you to still help, but to maintain your safety. There are countless people from here that cannot get to us to help. This is for you to show your support. There are even more people who don't know any of us who want to help but don't know how. If you don't donate to anything else, donate to those who made this location a second home for all of Orlando.
This campaign will be up until Friday, at which time every penny earned will be divided up between those who work at the bar. This way people across the country will have time to donate to such a great cause.
