Pulse Haiti School Build

OUR STORY
I am a martial artist, stunt man, teacher, and school owner and I came to visit Haiti in 2016 to do some charitable work. My mission was to try to make a difference in the lives of the people I met there and to make a positive impact in their community. After meeting the right people, I ended up opening my own school, sponsoring the rent, and all expenses so that any student who wanted to train, could come for free.

After 2 years, I had so many students that they could all barely fit into the little space I rented. I love to teach. I love martial arts. It’s what I know and am good at and I will use it as a platform to making a difference in people’s lives. This is a project that I promised all the students that I would support, for as long as I lived, and hopefully even longer. 

THE PROJECT
Early this year I purchased a plot of land on the side of the mountain overlooking Pignon. A beautiful spot for our future school. The plan is to build a 1,000 sq foot training facility, enough space that all the students can use and enjoy. This project is going to be a huge undertaking, and that is why I need your help.

We will need funds to do all the digging, purchase the rebar, sand, concrete, and tools to build this school. I would like to invite you to help me in being a part of making this project come true. I have had the wonderful opportunity to do so much for this community. To be a positive influence in the children, and to give back something that everyone can enjoy.

DONATIONS
We will be creating an art garden that will be a feature of the school. With each donation of $100, my student who is an artist will paint any graphic or logo of your choice. Each $100 donation will get you 1sq foot of canvas and you can purchase as large a spot as you like. The collective work will be displayed on the wall of the school for everyone to see. The creation of this art piece is what will fund the build of this school.

I am super excited about this project and it will truly be something incredible when it is complete. As the donations come in, we will begin construction and progress photos will be posted as it develops. This school will be built on the support of my friends, family, colleagues, partners, and fellow martial artists. I invite the martial arts community for your support, to help share the beauty and benefit of what we do, and to create a project that will last for decades to come.
