Pull for Mark Schofer

Donation protected
Some of you may know that Mark Schofer, our beloved Brown Crew boatman, has not been feeling well for quite some time. In Late August, Mark's condition worsened and he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. Mark faces a long and difficult road to recovery. Even so, he has continued to maintain his characteristic humor and wit.

Mark has helped shape the lives of countless oarsmen, oarswomen, coxswains, riggers, coaches, and friends. In the "wake" of his illness, we want to show him our support in his recovery. We hope he will feel our gratitude and be reminded of his importance in the rowing community.

To know Mark is to know his fierce independence (have you ever seen him park a trailer?); despite his illnesss, he has unsurprisingly not asked for help of any kind. In fact, Mark doesn’t even know that we are putting this together!

So, let's "Spread" the word and all "Pitch" in. Please give Mark your well wishes and thoughts for recovery through this page. Also, if you feel so compelled, please donate to help offset any unforeseen medical expenses.

Let's show our support and appreciation for Mark during this difficult time. Thank you!
