Caring For Diane Logiudice

On May 3rd, Diane was rushed to the hospital with heart complications which soon developed into Congestive Heart Failure.   Leaving all responsibilities behind including her beloved dog Jesse, Diane was admitted into the Cardiac unit for a long time stay until her heart issues have been resolved.  Doctors have discovered that Diane has a leaky heart valve which will need replacement and possible open heart surgery. Our family has a scary history of heart disease.  Both of Diane's parents had heart trouble and her mom Joan passed away at age 69 from Congestive Heart Failure. Diane will be 62 this August and fears that she will follow in her moms footsteps with the heart situation. Diane's will power seems meek and she has become increasingly fragile within the past week alone.  More than likely, she will need an in home health aide to help her with daily activities (Grocery Shopping, Laundry, Etc...).  Diane also fears the cost of prescriptions and doesn't know how she will make ends meet when or if she comes home.  

Diane has dedicated the past two decades of her life to the Human Services field helping other families and individuals in need.  She lives alone and her biggest worry is that something will happen to her dog while she is gone.  Being that she lives alone and lives paycheck to paycheck, her 2nd worry is how she will pay her bills for the month of May while she is losing pay from missing work while in the hospital.  Jesse is currently being taken care of by her son Mike and his family, but any small donation to help her pay her bills while she is hospitalized would be greatly appreciated!
