Pug Pup For Dahlia...

You have seen the endless pictures of our sweet Dahlia for months now. Sadly, due to covid, most of you have not had the chance to meet her in person.

I assure you, you'd love her!

She is full of life, sassy as hell, and LOVES "woof woofs."  Everytime she sees one, either on TV or in person she lights up and yells "WOOF, WOOF!" It really is the only word other than "No" that she consistently says.

Can you guess what her favorite "woof, woof" is? You guessed it... PUGS!

We are blessed and get to watch our friend's pug Pippen when they travel. She is all about Pippen when he comes over! She chases him, snuggles him, and feeds him side snacks like it's her job.

Pippen also brings us great joy.

If you know anything about Brian and I, it would be our love for pugs. In 2017 we lost our pug Kiwi. I got Kiwi when I was a young teen. My mom thought it would be a good idea for me to have a dog of my own to be responsible for. I had just gotten out of rehab for alcohol abuse and was trying to start a new life at 15.

When Kiwi came into my life, it changed everything for me. To experience unconditional love and have a true companion to go on adventures with was just what I needed to turn my young life around.

In the final years of her life, Kiwi taught me many things that helped me prepare to become a mother.

She taught me patience, acceptance, and the act of unconditional love.

Let's face it, things are jacked up right now.

I think it is safe to say, we could all benefit from some pug love.

We made the hard choice to pull Dahlia out of daycare until covid was more under control.
Spending most of her time at home, she misses out on opportunities for play and friendship.

Having a pug pup to grow up with will help her keep laughing and smiling as we all ride the Covid wave.

We have been introduced to an incredible local breeder that we feel good about supporting. Their lovely pug family is set to have a new litter this fall. Dahlia will be able to take a pug of her own home just in time for Christmas!

If you want to help give Dahlia the best Christmas present we can imagine for her, please donate today. We are so grateful for your help and support! Our pug pup will complete our family in the most beautiful way.

Thank you for reading our story! WE LOVE YOU!!!!
