Puerto Rico Rises Relief Fund

155 mile and hour sustained winds. Over 40 inches of rain. Whole towns have been flooded. Thousands have been displaced. One week later and Puerto Rico is a full on humanitarian crisis. No power, no water and some are losing hope.
Our church is ground zero of the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria. Long lines for food, water, ice and gas surround our church building. We have a food pantry and we have started to distribute canned goods to families affected by this crisis. But we need help to continue helping those around us.
Our house of worship was damaged as the savage winds blew off the roof of our bathrooms and the rains flooded our storage space, food pantry and part of our main worship space. This gofundme campaign will help in the restoration of our house of worship and provide our church with the resources to help those that were severely affected by this historic storm. We will provide financial assistance to those that were displaced by the hurricane so they may be able to get back on their feet and on route to some semblance of normalcy. With your help Puerto Rico will surely rise again.
This Gofundme is run by Pastor Justin S. Colón, Pastor of Iglesia Evangelio de Amor, a non-denominational evangelical church in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. All funds will be donated to Iglesia Evangelio de Amor to be used for their mission in serving the families of Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria.
