Puerto Rico Strong: Help our team!

The lives of every resident of Puerto Rico dramatically changed on September 20th, 2017. Hurricane Maria left a wave of devastation through all of Puerto Rico unlike anything that has been seen in recent times; with long-lasting effects that as of today, have not even begun to restore life back to normal.  The staff of the Holiday Inn Express on Fort Buchanan, an IHG Army Hotel, has suffered immense losses to their properties and homes.  Through it all, these folks selflessly stayed in the hotel to continue to serve our guests as best as humanly possible; providing food and shelter – even when the condition of their loved ones and homes was not known for many days.  They remain there today, with the same positive attitude and culture of service that they display every day, regardless of their personal struggles.

 

As they continue to help and serve their guests, it’s time for us now to step up and offer them some help.  Please join us in collecting funds to provide them with much-needed supplies and generators so they can begin the cleaning and rebuilding process in their own lives.  They are proud to serve our military and civilian guests every day, and now we can show we care and how much we appreciate them.
