Puerto Rico- Help for Yabucoa

Donation protected
As you know, on September 20th Hurricane Maria made landfall in Puerto Rico- it touched down (almost a category 5) in Yabucoa.  Even though some say that everything is fine on the island and there is help, we believe that help is going to San Juan (and its suburbs).  The truth of the matter is that our family/ the people of Yabucoa need help.  Currently, they are rationing supplies such as food, water, and gas.  They have no power and don't expect any for a long time.  They are washing their dirty clothes in a dirty stream, in short- these Americans are not living the American dream.

We have decided that we are taking it upon ourselves to deliver goods as we have been told many deliveries don't seem to be making it to the intended recipients.  Ralph is flying out on Monday to help in any way he can (mostly by delivering water, food, basic first aid supplies, and cash- no credit accepted).  We are also trying to figure out logistics to send a generator and more supplies (can't bring everything on the plane).

Many people have reached out to us to ask what we need.  Right now, we need support, specifically financially.  Any little bit helps and, is greatly appreciated.  If you want 100% of your money to go directly to the people then please feel free to send a check directly to the house(feel free to contact one of us for the mailing address).

Whatever is not used immediately will be used later- rebuilding an island takes time.  Thank you in advance for your love and support from both our family and our favorite isla del encanto.
