Puerto Rico Family Emergency Fund

We could never have imagined what God had destined for us when in July Zory and I planned our vacation for September to visit family and celebrate our grandson’s birthday. 4 days after our arrival we experienced one of nature’s biggest furies; her name was Maria, hurricane Maria.

For 28 hours we took shelter at my parents home as the 115-125 MPH winds thrashed everything in its path. After the winds died down and we ventured outside, we were able to observe the destruction it caused, to say destruction is an understatement, life as we knew it was no more. The effects of no more electricity, running water, communications, and food were immediately felt. To this day 70 days after the passing of hurricane Maria these basic needs are not totally restored or still lacking.

So it is for this reason that we have set up this Go Fund Me request, to help acquire 4 generators of which we already have been blessed to have 3 donated so we have one more to go, 4 gas powered chainsaws, and the funds to transport these materials to Puerto Rico.
