Culebra, Puerto Rico, in Crisis

Hello friends.  My name is Kelly Marquez Johnson.  I'm Puerto Rican and live in Castro Valley, California.  There is a tiny island called Culebra right off the eastern side of Puerto Rico.  Culebra got hit very hard by Irma.  I was able to speak to my dear friend Guillin  (pictured here) who is a retired police officer on the island and he said they were without electricity, but with Maria on it's way things would get much worse.  He told me everyone on the island of just 1, 880 people were walking around crying because they knew what was coming.  This is a safe, beautiful island that boasts a rated 2nd most beach in the world, Playa Flamenco.  There are no Walmarts, Big Grocery stores, no Starbucks or McDonalds even.  it truly is a tiny island.  They are without even  potable water right now.  They do not get the same help as the big isand gets. Because they have no big business, they contribute nothing to Puerto Rico's economy except a stop over in SJ en route.  I am desperate to send or deliver flashlights, batteries, hand sanitizer, work gloves, water sanitization tablets,  high calorie granola bars,  and canned meats.  If everyone reading this just sent a few dollars, you can be part of something big: helping humanity; your brothers and sisters.
