Puerto Rico Aid By The Rogue United

I am a Puerto Rican Doctor and lived through Hurricaine Maria on September 20th. Our island has been destroyed on so many levels but our spirit remains strong. I joined a group of over 300 union workers who arrived to the island on October 4th to provide relief, to fill the huge void left by US government aid. I spent 2 weeks working with a group of nurses, doctors, truck drivers, electricians, plumbers and more. Our group was known as Team 4 Rogue because we were the first to reach communities far outside of San Juan that had received NO assistance since the storm.
Since Team 4 Rogue left the island, I have coordinated a group of volunteers to continue the work. We are doctors, nurses, social workers, mental health counselors and many more. Every day we are bringing much needed water, food, medicine, diapers, water filters and even some toys to communities who need aid. We are not charging for our time. We are collecting donations which are used exclusively to purchase supplies for distribution.
The majority of the island is still without electricity. At least half have no access to clean water. Many are trapped in small outlying areas with no means of getting food, water, medicine or other basic supplies. Schools and businesses are closed. The hospitals and clinics that are open are overwhelmed and anable to treat those in need.
I have started a non-profit, The Rogue United Corp, to continue the work. Until we have a formal website up and running, I am asking for donations through this GoFundMe page. Every cent will go to providing real relief to Puerto Rican communities that continue to suffer 6 weeks after Maria.
