Fundraiser for Susan & Jason Taylor

Donation protected
Susan and Jason Taylor, along with their two youngest children (a 2-year old and a 1-month old), were in a very bad car accident in Middle Musquodoboit, NS on August 9, 2018.  Susan sustained very serious injuries.  Please help however you can as they will be faced with many added expenses as Susan recovers.  If you can't help financially, Jason asks for prayers for Susan as she fights to heal.

Following are the updates from Jason:

Asking all my friends and family to pray for my wife Susan Taylor. We were in a bad car crash and she has suffered a bad head injury and is currently in ICU. Doctor’s said that if I could pray for the bleeding in her head to stop would be the first place to start. She has also suffered two broken femurs. Please pray and intercede for her life!

Update: Susan has brain trauma and fractures to her skull. She is scheduled to have surgery to help remove some of the pressure and bleeding on her brain. Please pray specifically that her brain activity improves and that the bleeding stops. I will update as I learn more. We are in a battle but Jesus is seated on his throne!

Update 2 - 3:27 am - Susan came through surgery ok. Her doctor said she did as good as can be and that her brain looked better then what they expected when she first came in. Please pray for the swelling on her brain to be minimal to none and that any bleeding stops and also that she becomes responsive with good brain activity! She has people all over the world who are praying for her and standing in the gap. It is humbling. Thanks to you all and God Bless!

Update 3 - 3:24 pm - I wish I could say that we received the update that we wanted. We did not, but we are choosing to stand in faith. We have been told that there is a chance Susan may not make it through this. She suffered severe trauma to the right side of her brain however on top of that, her heart stopped twice yesterday which led to insufficient blood flow to her brain. The doctors are saying if she does survive, that she will not be the same. That she will have trouble with her left side, she may have movement or she may not. She will likely have poor short term memory among other things. This is what the doctors have said and we appreciate their viewpoint but we also know that science does not heal. Only God can heal. He is the Master Physician. The doctor has indicated if she was responsive in the next 4-5 days, should they take her out of the induced coma, that it would be a very good sign. Please pray for her brain to be healed, pray for good brain activity and responsiveness as well as her other systems. She is currently on life support for her breathing and blood pressure. We need a miracle! God is able! I will provide more updates as I get them.

Update 4: 8/11 - 9:55am - We have not had an official update from the team of physicians yet for today but I was told that they are taking her off sedation so that the Neurological team can assess her brain response. Please pray for good brain activity. Pray that the team will be pleased with what they see. Please continue to pray for her heart and pray against infection. The swelling has come down a lot in her face. Her brain is still swollen but the pressure is about where it should be. Her blood pressure is also under control. We appreciate all your prayers. They are working. Battles are won by prayer. Step by step. God loves his little princess and is fighting for her! Love you all!
