Puddles Angels

Hi everyone;

As most of you know Tim has been searching the past 3 months for a beautiful missing dog from our community, Puddles.

Puddles has been missing for over 3 months now. To date we have received over 121 sightings. She seems to be trapped in a circle and can not find her way home.  We have spent countless days and nights trying to find her. We do know the area she is in, we have sighted her multiple times but it is in a area which is deeply wooded, & has so many trails. We have exhausted all means at this point. Tim has stayed out nights for more then 22 times hoping he would see her at night. We now have reports she has been chased by atvs, chased by a group of teenagers, she has had rocks thrown at her & most recently she received an injury to her leg. When she was sighted yesterday we were told she looks very emaciated! My heart is broken, she does not deserve this.

We have tried live traps, missy traps, scent dogs, everything. The most recent sighting was today, we know she’s in very bad shape & if we don’t help her fast she’s not going to make it.

Due to the sightings we have recently had we had to reach out to a group of professional dog trackers from Ontario. Up until now we have funded the entire search on our own. We have expenses to date over $5,000 out of pocket. As most of you know I will be travelling myself to the states for surgery, because of that we can no longer afford to fund the search on our own.  We hate asking for help but we know if we don’t get them here right away it will be too late. Every dollar counts.

We do know that we cant guarantee that the trackers will get her, but we have so much hope. They are very well trained, have an excellent reputation, we have researched them thoroughly and they are the best at their job!! With puddles in survival mode there is no way she will just go to someone, she’s terrified and views everyone as a predator. Again we can make no guarantees of trapping her but we wouldn’t be asking for help if we truly didn’t believe there is still a chance to rescue her! We know she has bleeding paws, we also know she has a limp and there is a large area on her leg bleeding. Please help us help her, before it’s too late!!

Expenses will be used for hotels, trackers cost and expenses, food, another trap, etc..

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!! To those who have helped us spend countless hours searching, Vernice, Leona, Tim, Sheldon, Matthew, Caitlyn, Adam and Doran, and Gary, you are all angels. To anyone who helped put up posters, allowed us to use your properties for traps, called in sightings, shared her picture, given us advice, thank you all so much! To our families who we have seen very little of us, thank you for understanding that we just couldn’t give up on her! For those who helped search the Coxheath area in cold temperatures of -22 you are all amazing!!

Please keep Puddles in your prayers! We apologize for the decision of keeping all new sightings private, please know we did this to protect Puddles!! This is the same reason we are keeping the dog trackers identification private until the search is over! Don’t worry we promise lots of pictures! We can’t risk her being scared away again, her safety is our priority.

If there is any money left over after the search is done that money will be donated to a local animal rescue!

We are also accepting e transfers: [email redacted] please use the password Puddles.

Thank you doesn’t seem enough!! ♥️
