Killorglin, Co Kerry, on the banks of the River Laune, has been home to the legendary Puck Fair for over 400 years. One of Ireland’s (if not one of Europe's) oldest annual Fairs, it has always been run by local people on a voluntary basis.
And that's how it still is today.
We believe it’s the only Fair where 3 days of music, workshops (for both children and adults), street entertainers, concerts, fireworks and more are all provided, free of charge, to locals and visitors alike.
Providing all of this does not come cheap, however, we have managed so far through sponsorship, grant-aid and a substantial amount of begging, borrowing and making do!
Now, we want YOUR help!
Costs are rising, particularly where insurance and medical cover is concerned. We need your support to ensure this famous festival can continue to be held each year.
All contributions raised through this campaign will go directly to the fair and will be used to offset some of the spiralling costs. In order to thank you for your support, your name, if provided, will be noted and published on our website under the following classifications:
* €10 to €50 - Cill Orglan (Killorglin) * €51 to €100 - Aonach an Phoc (Puck Fair) * €101 to €250 - Banríon an Phoc (Queen of Puck) * €251 to €500 - Ri an Phoc (King of Puck)
Thank you for support and we hope to see you in Killorglin for Puck Fair 2019!
