Public Sculpture - Mehl Lawson Horse

Help the museum to match a $25,000 challenge grant to have a full size bronze Mehl Lawson horse located in the Bonita Museum and Sunnyside/Bonita Library County complex.  Join us in celebrating our region with local "Cowboy Artists of America" sculptor Mehl Lawson. 

In 2019 Mehl created a sculpture of famous horse WR This Cats Smart   in the museum.  The artist has donated a museum copy of the horse that we can display for the public.  Help us to raise funds to created a bronze, base, and signage for the sculpture.  Donors at $500 or more will be recognized on signage connected to the artwork.  All donors will be invited to a private reception for the sculpture.
