<div>Jenny got some devastating news on her birthday on May the 7th. She had this unbearable pain in her chest for about a week when basically moving, coughing or laughing. We were worried about it so we got her a GP appointment. It came around to getting a scan of her chest to figure out what was going on. At this stage the pain in the chest had gone. Jenny was almost going to cancel the appointment for the scan, but luckily she went. The next day the GP rings and said she needed to talk to her urgently and to bring myself for support. This is when we found out she had a mass on her lung and she needed to see a respiratory physician. The next day Jenny sees the Physician where myself, my kids, my brother Chad and his fiance Tash came along for support. The tests required for mum went on. She was required a bronchoscopy where they could biopsy the mass, a PET scan to see if had spread and a lung function test to see if she would be fit for surgery. Anxiously waiting for a couple of weeks after these tests were performed we were told that the mass in her lung has grown onto the chest wall and it has metastisized into an adrenal gland. Also informed that the mass was unable to be surgically removed.

<div>So at this stage we are aware that she will need to undergo chemotherapy, radiation and possibly immunotherepy depending on some results we are waiting for.
