Aids Awareness

I am an incarcerated novice and/or amateur urban book writer.  However, I've hand-written a book, and have been told by several of my family members and a few of my close friends that when they start reading my book, the hand-written content on the lined paper made it hard for them to disengage their eyes away from the pages.
Because of the positive reactions from my few readers, an idea appeared over my head in the form of a light bulb.  I thought...what if thousands of people in the United States and tens-of-thousands of people the world over were to read my book in published hardback, and paperbound form?  They all would experience the same reactions as my family and friends from reading  my book.
     My reason for receiving funding:
The story I tell in my hand-written book is of my late aunt, Sylvia Simmons.  I wrote her life story about me, and the heartbreak that the deadly disease called "AIDS" has caused to my family.  The book I wrote is essentially based on the true story of how Aunt Sylvia contracted AIDS, then, unknowingly passed it on to others; how she struggled with the shock and shame that appeared on the innocent faces after she told them; how she had infected them with HIV.
I wrote this book to honor her memory, the life she lived, and shared with her two daughters.  Her daughters are now living their lives without their Mother because of AIDS.
My book shows all readers that AIDS is still a deadly killer, and is still with us.  It's just as deadly as it was during its inception, and people should not let their guards down, and start practicing safe sex.
For these reasons found above, my need for funding is to promote my book to the public.  People are not taking those preventive measures to practice safe sex, such as use clean needles for drug use.
With the pandemic occupying our everyday lives, we tend to forget that this virus -HIV- which causes AIDS, is still among us.  This deadly disease is just waiting for us to let down our guard.  Reports from the medical community say there's been a drastic drop in the number of people testing for AIDS during the pandemic.  I wish to publish my book in honor of a special lady who died recently of AIDS, and to remind everyone of this scourge which is still with us.
Everyone giving $25.00 or more will receive a "Signed", "First-Edition" copy of this book.  Ten percent (10%) of proceeds above costs/mailing charges, will be donated, in Sylvia's name, to the National AIDS Foundation for further research.
Thank you for your support, and stay safe.
