<div>Ik ben Lize van der Meulen en ik ben 20 jaar.
</div>
<div>Vanaf jongs af aan struggle ik met mijn mentale gezondheid. Zo ben ik gediagnosticeerd met Boulimia Nervosa, autisme, complexe PTSS, depressieve stoornis en een complexe persoonlijkheidsstoornis. Na vele ondersteuningen en pogingen tot behandeling, zal ik met mijn klachten moeten leren leven. Dit is alleen erg zwaar en elke dag voelt als een gevecht. Toch wil ik het leven graag een kans geven en hierbij zou een psychosociale hulphond mij kunnen helpen!

<div>Momenteel ben ik al ruim 2 jaar opgenomen in verschillende soorten kliniek, die niet dicht bij huis zijn. Ik heb op de kliniek waar ik momenteel zit grote stappen kunnen zetten in mijn herstel, mede dankzij de vele en goede hulpverlening. Het moment is daar dat het einde in zicht komt van de opname bij deze afdeling. In samenspraak met mijn hulpverleners heb ik besloten dat ik het traject wil aangaan voor een psycho-sociale hulphond. Door samen met een hulphond door het leven te gaan, zal ik minder op anderen te hoeven steunen. Zo krijg ik autonomie in mijn leven terug en kan ik (weer) mee participeren in de maatschappij.

<div>Een psycho-sociale hulphond zal mij kunnen ondersteunen op de volgende gebieden:

<div>* Het aanbrengen van structuur in mijn dagen en mij spiegelen tijdens de eetmomenten.
</div>
<div>* Mij uit dissociaties/nachtmerries halen, die veroorzaakt worden door triggers vanuit PTSS.
</div>
<div>(Posttraumatische stressstoornis is een psychische aandoening die kan ontstaan na het meemaken van een traumatische gebeurtenis.)
</div>
<div>* Het aanvoelen van grenzen, prikkels en emoties en mij daar (eerder) bewust van maken.
</div>
<div>* Deep Pressure Therapy bij overprikkeling.
</div>
<div>(Het gewicht wat een hond gebruikt om een diepe, kalmerende druk op het lichaam uit te oefenen.)
</div>
<div>* Het gevoel van leegte te verminderen door nabijheid te bieden, waardoor ik minder last heb van mijn depressie.
</div>
<div>*Veiligheid en ondersteuning bieden door samen naar de supermarkt, afspraken en naar buiten etc te gaan. Doordat een hulphond overal mee naar toe mag, kan zij mij ondersteunen op plekken waar ik angstig ben of vermijd.
</div>
<div>*Toekomstperspectief: samen een team. Stabiliteit, verantwoordelijkheid en een doel.
</div>

<div>Al met al, een psycho-sociale hulphond kan voor mij levensreddend zijn en wellicht klinische opnames in de toekomst voorkomen.
</div>
<div>Een assistentiehond biedt 7 dagen per week 24 uur per dag begeleiding en ondersteuning.
</div>
