Dawna’s Road to Recovery

We are co-workers of Dawna and more importantly we are her friends. Dawna was in a tragic accident that involved her being attacked by her dog. Dawna has multiple bite, scratches and marks to her face and body. She was treated here in Maine and then sent to Boston as a major area of concern was her eye. She underwent emergency surgery on her eye. She since has been discharged home to continue to heal. On top of this all she and her family has to put to rest their dog that they have loved for years.

Dawna has a long recovery road ahead of her. She is currently out of work and needing to focus on her healing. She has many more appointments in the future as she continues down this recovery road.

Dawna is truly a hardworking, kind and caring woman who has the biggest, purest heart. She works at McDonald’s and at the Chelsea Boys and Girls Club.

Anyone that knows Dawna knows just how special she is.

Our goal is to raise as much as possible to help cover all the expenses medically , bills while being out of work and anything that will lessen the burden and allow her to focus completely on healing.
