Karl Wiensz is a dear friend of ours who has done route delivery for years with his own vehicle as an independent contractor as an occupation.
Recently he has had the unfortunate situation of both a failed transmission, and a broken tie rod, in the vehicle that he uses for this occupation. The transmission failure was unexpected with his Toyota, (as these things usually are). This means he will need to spend $4000 to $6000 to repair these problems, or possibly replace the car altogether.
In the meantime, he is using an old Ford pick-up for delivering his routes so he can continue to make this needed income.
This old Ford Ranger also has issues and probably some black mold within the interior, which seems to be making Karl ill. So, the purpose of this go-fund me effort on his behalf is to help him get beyond this situation since he does not presently have the money needed to do so.
