UCD PSA 9th Annual Charity Banquet

The UC Davis Pakistani Student Association proudly presents to you, our 9th Annual Charity Banquet: Humari Pehchan (Our Identity)

This year, we have the pleasure of partnering with The Citizens Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports the education of underprivileged children in Pakistan. All proceeds raised from our banquet will be donated to The Citizens Foundation. 

Below is a brief overview of TCF's history and success: 

TCF-USA supports specific programs, initiatives and projects of The Citizens Foundation (TCF) in Pakistan, one of the leading organizations in the field of education in that country. TCF was started in 1995 by a group of concerned citizens who wanted to bring about social change through education.

TCF has come a long way and has more than 220,000+ children enrolled in 1,480+ schools. Our ongoing efforts to improve the quality of education includes providing annual training programs for our 12,000+ all-female faculty and leveraging technology to improve learning outcomes. The majority of TCF alumni are successfully self-employed or enjoying careers in the private and public sector.

Seeing the impact of our programs first-hand, we believe that education is the key to eradicating poverty and empowering communities. In the light of this dire need, TCF is now committing to create 2 million agents of positive change by the year 2030.
