1 MORE TIME FOR P.S. 89! #Nationals

The P.S. 89 cheerleaders were the first Bronx public middle school team in history to win a bid and compete at the 2018 UCA Nationals in Orlando Florida. With support from their friends, family, local officials and community, they were able to raise enough funds to compete and placed 6th in the Nation!
This amazing up an coming team has worked so hard to earn their spot in the in the big leagues! They continue to practice, learn new skills, and are amazing role models in their community. The Panthers do their best to make sure their grades match their outstanding talents.
The 2019 UCA Nationals is coming up very soon and the team is hungry for more GOLD! The goal is to make it into the top 3 this season! With more than half of the Varsity team graduating in 2019, for most it will be their last time competing in such a large competition. The team needs help to make it to Nationals one last time before they head off into their respected high schools. As a Coach, I try my best to get them into great schools that have wonderful cheer programs. Unfortunately this is not always the case as most schools in the Bronx do not follow this style of cheer unless it is a tuition paid school which most of my cheerleaders will not be attending. Helping these young Bronx athletes grow into amazing future leaders is my goal. Most times they don't see how amazingly talented and bright they are until someone helps them to see. Your help gives these kids the opportunity to strive for more and continue with their successes no matter their background.
