<div>We've been fighting to Green Belt land across the Region since 2016 when we first learned of the Greater Manchester Spatial Framework (GMSF) plan.

<div>This plan, by Councils across Greater Manchester has gone through many changes and is now called Places for Everyone (PfE).
</div>
<div>PfE proposes the development of thousands of hectares of Green Belt for housing and industrial units.
</div>
<div>We believe PfE should be a 'brownfield first' policy, using previously developed land before allocating Green Belt.
</div>
<div>Green Belt is important for many reasons, not least: local food security; use for our physical &amp; mental health and recreation; helping reduce the effects of climate change.
</div>
