<div>My fellow staff and I are passionate about empowering our students to act with empathy and kindness - and to give back to our local community.

<div>That's why I'm happy to announce that our students are participating in a nationwide movement called Blankets of Hope.
</div>

</div>
<div>Blankets of Hope is a 501(c)3 non-profit helping students practice empathy and kindness by donating blankets and handwritten letters of encouragement to people experiencing homelessness.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As part of the initiative, every student will be participating in the Blankets of Hope “Kindness Workshop.” 
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Students will learn and practice empathy, write letters of encouragement, and even participate in a loving-kindness meditation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Once the workshop is complete, we'll be delivering 472 Blankets of Hope to those in need in our local community!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My staff and I are launching this GoFundMe page in an effort to raise money for the blankets we'll need for all students to participate.
</div>

</div>
<div>100% of all donations will go directly to purchasing blankets. At $7 a blanket, we'll need to raise $3,304 (one for each student to participate).
</div>
