1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with Breast Cancer in their lifetime. BC is the SECOND leading cause of cancer death among women. Each year it is estimated that over 246,660 women in the US will be diagnosed with BC and more than 40,000 will die. It is likely that you know someone who has been diagnosed with BC. Perhaps a relative, coworker, or friend. World wide it happens every 19 SECONDS. That's a lot!!! No group is spared. A BC diagnosis not only affects the patient, when someone we love is affected the family works doubly hard to keep the home running somoothly while the patient is on their Cancer Journey.
As most of you know, my mother, Sherri Jones has been recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Although it's stage two its just as aggressive as stage four therefore it has to be treated as such. The treatment plan is not only going to be aggressive but its going to be costly as well.
I've created this particular benefit because I know that many people would love to have an opportunity to help. But most importantly to provide my mother with hope, comfort, and a peace of mind. There is going to be a tremendous drain on resources, so the goal is to have this burden and stress lifted.
