Concerts for cancer sick children all over Europe

My name is Nik Cosmo. I am a musician and I had cancer myself as a teenager. My mission is to play concerts for children with cancer and to talk about me and my experiences. With my life story I want to give the children courage and a little distraction, joy and confidence. As a professional musician I want to play with my project for the little patients all over Europe.
I am 26 years old and suffered from lymph gland cancer when I was 15 years old. At that time I was in oncological treatment in Regensburg, Germany. My illness lasted one and a half years including a relapse with stem cell transplantation. It gave me a lot of faith to make music and write songs. The music carried me through the whole illness and gave me new energy again and again. Therefore, I quickly figured out, after I was well again, that my personal path was music. Music is my big passion. The last few years I studied music in London, making it my profession.
Most important to me is that I can give meaning to what I do. I was wondering how I can make a difference with my music and where I can play to make something valuable. In this process I had the idea to go back to where my music started at that time - and that’s to say to the hospital to the cancer patients. However, I do not just want to play for them, but I also want to share my personal story when I was ill and how I got through and mastered everything.
From my own experience, I know that everything that has nothing to do with the daily routine of the clinic is a welcome change. I'm not just a musician, I share the same story. I want to tell about my personal path with cancer and be an example of what such an illness can do for the better and what you can take away from it.
Here's where I need your help:
Your donation will help to realise the concerts. My girlfriend and I had to buy a car and a caravan and there are many other expenses connected to the concerts. Your donation would help paying for
- paying off the car/caravan
- fuel
- music equipment
- keeping up the content (new music and documentation of the journey)
- all the other expenses from living on the road (food, internet etc.)
I want to play these concerts no matter what. In order to go in as many hospitals as possible, I'll be playing many of them only on a donation basis. All I need is basically the consent of the hospitals no matter if they can come up for some expenses or not.
Your donation would mean the world to me and you could be part of making someone's life a little bit better, even if it's just for this moment.
