<div>Hola, mi nombre es María. El 28 de abril de 2021 inicie con Patas Arriba, un proyecto para ayudar a animales en situación de calle (sin hogar) en Guatemala, Centro America.

<div>Patas Arriba los rescata de la calle, les cuida, da un hogar, brinda medicamentos y atención medica y trata de buscarles un hogar. Nuestra meta es reducir la población de animales viviendo en las calles de Guatemala y luego el mundo, aunque es un sueño bastante grande, no perdemos la esperanza.

<div>De la mano de la ley, educación y bondad, esperamos poder evitar la reproducción desmedida de animales y fomentar la conciencia y responsabilidad utilizando como medio bondad de la mano de la educación y la ley.

<div>Patas Arriba no cree en la eutanasia si un animal no es adoptado. El animal vivirá en el refugio y le brindaremos una vida digna, llena de amor y respeto hasta su ultimo día en la tierra o hasta que encuentre su hogar para siempre.

<div>Nuestra meta es poder comprar un terreno para ya no tener que pagar renta y asi poder llevar a nuestros animales a un lugar mas grande y adecuado a sus necesidades para poder seguir rescatando animalitos en situacion de calle. Ya que el lugar donde estamos nos limita de poder continuar con nuestra labor.

<div>Actualmente somos 50 perros y 9 gatos que son mantenidos economicamente casi em su totalidad por mi, a excepcion de algunas personas que apadrinan a algunos perritos o donaciones esporadicas, pero de lo contario, yo aporto toda la pate economica y cuento unicamente con otro par de manos que me ayudan en el refugio donando su labor por completo.
