Operation Santa Paws

As winter approaches after a tough year for everyone, we became increasingly aware of people sleeping rough this winter and the dogs that will be beside them. It’s important that dogs remain with their owner, for both the owners well being and the dogs. Often in these situations people rely on the donations from other people and passers by. With the risk of less people being out due to lockdown and covid restrictions, there is a growing concern that the normal donations of food for dogs on the street will be limited. So therefore we have began to make up boxes for those companions of those living on the streets, which will include high grade dog food, a warm blanket and collars and leads if needed. With your donations we will be able to purchase high grade food to ensure that even if the dog has small portions it will be getting enough nutrients to keep  it healthy through the winter.  Along with this we will also be making up boxes for shelter dogs. After a surge in puppies being bought during the first lockdown, shelters have become increasingly over ran.

Please help us support dogs on the streets and homeless dogs in shelters so that they too can be well fed and warm this Christmas.
