As a developing country with a mere 2% of its GDP allocated for total health expenditures, Pakistan struggles to maintain a proper healthcare system with regard to quality and accessibility. Pakistan's numerous cases of communicable and vaccine-preventable diseases highlight its struggling healthcare system.
We aim to fundraise money for this polyclinic. As a 'one-stop' healthcare centre, located in a rural, fairly accessible area, it will provide primary care, which includes primary medical treatment, preventive healthcare and health education. Common primary care services include: Maternal and child health, Health screening and education, Diagnostic and pharmaceutical, Outpatient medical treatment, Medical follow-ups after discharge from hospital, and Immunisation.
Primary care specialties include family medicine, general internal medicine, general pediatrics, combined internal medicine/pediatrics (med/peds) and general obstetrics and gynecology (ob/gyn), fulfilling the general medical needs of specific patient populations.
Our family will deliver this on ground: design a clinic with no fee, set up and source all equipment and recruit physicians. Help us fundraise for this cause. Help us heal people and better their lives.
