For those who may not be in the know, Reem Anbar is Gaza's first music therapist and female oud player. After spending three decades in Gaza City, where her family remains, she now tours internationally as a soloist and leader of Gazelleband. Between performing and her current music research trip in Cairo, Reem lives in Manchester.

Reem is raising funds to be able to lead music therapy sessions in the camps of Lebanon during an upcoming trip. These will be provided free of charge to Palestinian and other displaced children in the camps of Beirut, and the fundraiser is just to cover Reem's travel and accommodation.

Anything raised over and above this basic goal will be donated to children's projects in the camps.
