I’m helping a friend who would like to remain anonymous raise money to help her pay for housing and medical attention. She’s a Black queer woman who is currently managing serious financial insecurity with little support from her family.

She’s hoping to raise around $4,500 to pay rent and utilities for a few months, as well as manage an ongoing medical problem that will require ongoing medical care.

It can be super awkward and difficult asking for money online, but any amount will be greatly appreciated. I’m quite relieved that my dear friend agreed to creating a GoFundMe and greatly appreciate any donation.
