Provide laptops for homeless foster youth!

Tax deductible
Join us in providing laptops for homeless foster kids on their path to a successful future!

Your donation can make a significant impact by helping us raise funds to purchase laptops for foster youth who are transitioning out of the foster care system and finding themselves without stable housing. During this critical period, these laptops will serve as invaluable tools to support their journey towards independence and career readiness.

By contributing, you empower these resilient individuals to access essential resources, effectively communicate with their advocates, search for employment opportunities, apply to colleges, and much more. Your support plays a vital role in bridging the digital divide and ensuring that no foster youth is left behind in the pursuit of their dreams.

We are proud to inform you that all donations made towards this cause are 100% tax-deductible. Community Villages, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Northern California, is spearheading this initiative. Our organization is dedicated to serving marginalized communities, including unhoused individuals, through various programs such as homelessness outreach, community food pantry, mental health advocacy, vocational training, and re-entry services.

Thank you for your compassion and support! Together, we can provide the resources these homeless foster kids need to thrive and create a better tomorrow.

Update:
With the community efforts towards this mission thus far Community Villages have donated (7) laptops to RPAL (Richmond Police Activity League ) as pictured a youth receiving a laptop pictured with RPAL Executive Director, Larry Lewis (third from the left) and staff , City of Richmond council member Sohelia Bana (second from the right) and Community Village founder Tanya Jacobs (second from the left). Additional laptops will be purchased and donated to the youth that’s in need.

With the continuing demand for technology access for youth in foster and unhoused communities we have received a request for more laptops from the Youth Services Bureau, https://wccysb.org/, which also serves foster children. Hence, we shall continue with the laptop drive as long as there is a need and your donations would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you for your continued support!
