Omid for Girls is a non-profit organization that provides online tutoring in English and math to many girls in a country where all girls older than 12 have been banned from getting an education. One of the girls we teach, Zahra*, has started to teach other girls in her village English, but she doesn't have enough money to buy the necessary books for them.

Omid relies on donations to provide the girls with educational resources, including cell phones, internet data, and books. Just $5 to $6 is enough to provide two books for one girl. Omid means "hope" in Dari (a dialect of Persian), and that's just what you're giving these girls when you donate.
