Protesting the 3 year plus closure of Botley Road, Oxford
Donation protected
Due to a botched Network Rail project Botley Road, the only road linking West Oxford to the city, has been closed nearly two years, and there's now no date for re-opening. This is causing great distress to many disabled people who can't get into town, even to see GPs or get to hospital, and to small businesses locally who are deprived of customers, and some are going under.
This is a scandal that should be more widely known. In an attempt to shame Gvernment into taking responsbility for what they've done to us, I've collected statements by people affected and will shortly publish them locally and nationally, with a call for early re-opening of the road, compensation, more practical help and an inquiry.
I'm distributing the report free, not selling it. While I've committed to meeting the publishing costs, these have risen higher than expected, so I'd be grateful for any help from those who can afford it.
