Protect the Ponies Fund

Three ponies and one horse at Elizabeth Park sadly had the hair on their tails cut off.  Trenton police are searching for answers and suspect(s).

We here at the Woodhaven/Trenton Animal Shelter need your help to make sure these ponies are protected for the summer! Any donation is greatly appreciated! Proceeds will go directly to the owner to help pay for insect sprays, fly sheets and additional protective horse gear.  

Horse tails are a vital part of the animal’s ability to communicate with other animals and with humans. They also use their tails to swat flys, mosquitos and other insects that could be carrying diseases.
