Protective Equipment to Fight Covid 19

The holiday season of 2020 is definitely different for all of us. There is no sign that the Covid pandemic is ending anytime soon. More than 2000 people tested positive for Covid in Santa Clara County with 630 people hospitalized as of yesterday (12/26/2020). All of the frontline health care workers are working hard to take care of all patients and hoping for the end of this craziness.
As of 12/27/2020, there are almost 19 million cases in the US and 2.13 million in California. More than 330K people in the US and 24.2 K died in California thus far.
In the beginning of the pandemic, healthcare workers had struggled with the lack of personal protective equipment (PPE). With the money that we've raised at the beginning of the year, we were able to purchase more than $22,500 worth of PPEs N95 masks, surgical masks, face shields, and isolations gowns. These PPEs have been donated to Valley Medical Foundation and various local health clinics to help improve PPE availability to all healthcare workers. So far we have donated more than 10,000 KN 95 masks, 200 isolation gowns, and 100 face shields.
We are very grateful to all of the donors and supporters for supporting the health care workers in the Santa Clara County.
